According to Piper Jaffray, athenahealth
ATHN
doc count estimate for Q1 is lowered. Piper Jaffray reported that it is lowering its Q1 doc count estimate to 620 from 820 because West Penn Alleghany (a large Enterprise client signed in November 2010) did not go live during Q1. “We recommend investors add to positions after the quarter on any weakness if the doc count comes in below expectations. Factors that could offset the weakness include greater contribution from the group practice segment and announcements of Enterprise wins. The lower doc count estimate does not affect our revenue and EPS estimates.” athenahealth closed yesterday at $45.97.
