Deutsche Bank's Update on Owens-Illinois (OI)

Deutsche Bank has published its research report on Owens-Illinois

following disappointing figures in October. Deutsche Bank writes, "October shipments were weak. According to data just released by the Glass Packaging Institute, October domestic glass shipments were down 1.1% m/m and down 5.1% on a y/y basis. In September, shipments were down 10.7% m/m & 6.3% y/y. YTD, glass shipments are down 4.9% y/y. If we compare these numbers with October 2008, shipments are off 15.1%." OI closed at $27.38 Monday.
