Analysts conducted a proprietary survey of veterinary laboratory services in which they asked veterinarians to rate the two leading reference lab companies as well as local providers in three categories; Speed, price and convenience. The respondents in Morgan Keegan’s survey rated VCA’s Antech Diagnostics more favorably than IDEXX Laboratories

in all three categories. Analysts believe that the results from the survey should put to an end all the concerns about VCA Antech losing market share to IDEXX. Analysts at Morgan Keegan have maintained their Market Perform rating for VCA Antech, Inc.
