Doral Financial Surges 26%

Shares of Doral Financial Corp. DRL gained more than 50 percent since bouncing off a low of $3.01 on Tuesday, December 23.

The stock had remained just above $3.50 until Monday’s trading session when the stock broke through the $4.00 level at mid-day.

The stock closed at $4.57 Monday, up 26.59 percent

The gains followed last week’s news that the company had been raided by the FBI.
