New Product Line from Broadcom - Analyst Blog

Leading semiconductor solutions provider Broadcom Corporation BRCM recently introduced two new Bluetooth smart systems-on-a-chips (SoCs) named BCM20734 and BCM20738 for peripheral devices.

The new SoCs support Bluetooth Smart and Bluetooth Classic – the two common varieties of Bluetooth. It enables keyboards and mice to interact with computing platforms over either Bluetooth Smart or Bluetooth Classic, thus providing seamless connectivity to consumers. These chips target various products like remote controls and keyboards and reduce the overall cost for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The BCM20734 reduces the cost of voice search capabilities on next-generation remote controls for OEMs and enables superior performance even in connected homes with heavy traffic between devices.
