US Now Has a Lower Bond Rating than France

American's worst fears have taken place. The rating agency Standard & Poors has just dropped the rating for United States Government bonds

from AAA to AA+

, for the first time in history. Yes France still has a AAA rating even though France has a much higher debt per capital ratio than the United States.
