Forex Pros – pros - The New Zealand Dollar was lower against the U.S. Dollar on Tuesday after the release of U.S. data on Trade Balance.


NZD/USD was trading at 0.8200, down 1.10% at time of writing.


The pair was likely to find support at 0.8112, today’s low, and resistance at 0.8384, Friday’s high.


Earlier in the day, official data showed that The U.S. trade balance fell more-than-expected to a seasonally adjusted -50.2B last month from -43.6B in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from -43.7B.


Analysts had expected U.S. trade balance to fall -44.0B last month.


Meanwhile, the New Zealand Dollar was down against the Australian Dollar and the Euro, with AUD/NZD gaining 0.72% to hit 1.2944 and EUR/NZD rising 0.92% to hit 1.7079.
