AeroVironment Building 100 Electric Car Charge Stations

AeroVironment (AVAV) is in two somewhat different businesses: unmanned aircraft systems and efficient energy systems. The company's aircraft is used by the military for intelligence and surveillance. The other business falls into the green category, developing electric vehicle charging systems.

AeroVironment just announced that the company will be building as many as 100 electric car

in the state of South Carolina, which will be funded by state grants. The project should be completed by the beginning of December.
