On the surface, it seems like a shrewd move by HP, who have been struggling of late and needs the boost.

Questions are being asked of the e6 electric car made by the Warren Buffett-financed BYD after an accident involving one of the cars took the lives of three people.

The facts are still coming in, but it appears that the incident was caused by a drunk-driver in a Nissan GT-R who was speeding at 112mph and smashed into the e6 taxi, killing the driver and two passengers.
