Telik, Inc. (NASDAQ: TELK) rallied 22.78% to $0.97 in after hours trading after announced the publication of the positive results from a Phase 1-2a multicenter, dose-ranging study of TELCYTA in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel as first-line therapy for patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer in a leading peer reviewed publication, the Journal of Thoracic Oncology, October 2009; Vol. 4, No. 10.

QLT Inc. (USA) (NASDAQ: QLTI)  jumped up 18.64% to $4.20 followed its  announcement that it has completed the sale of all of the shares of its wholly-owned subsidiary, QLT USA, Inc. to TOLMAR Holding for up to an aggregate of US$230 million.

Immucor, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLUD) rose 0.57% to $17.70 after  reports Q1 EPS of $0.30, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter was $83.1 million, which compares to the estimate of $77.83 million. Immucor also reaffirms its forecast.

First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR) moved up 3.30% to $148.50 after it will replace Wyeth in the S&P 500 on a date to be announced.In the last one month the stock has jumped up over 25%.

 Accenture Plc (NYSE: ACN) fell 0.74% to $36.26 as the world’s second-largest technology-services company forecast revenue for this quarter and for fiscal 2010 that missed analysts’ estimates as the economic slump crimped consulting sales. It  reports Q4 EPS of $0.39, versus the analyst estimate of $0.63. Revenue for the quarter was $5.15 billion, which compares to the estimate of $5.11 billion. Sees Q1 sales of $5.3-$5.5 billion, versus the consensus of $21.99 billion. Sees FY10 EPS of $2.64-$2.72, which compares to the Street estimate of $2.77. Announces a $4 billion buyback. Also raised its dividend by 50% to $0.75.
