Hasbro, Inc. HAS shares are trading higher by $4.47 at $100.50 in Monday's session.
Before the open, the company reported Q1 GAAP EPS $0.54 vs. $0.38 estimates, along with a sales beat of $22.33 million. The EPS figure benefited from an $0.11 accounting change.
After a much higher open above its former all-time high ($101.08), Hasbro's stock continued in that direction until peaking at $104.14 and sharply reversing course. The ensuing decline has taken it beyond it opening print of $102.28 to $100.31 and is now attempting to reenter the $101.00 handle.
In order to post a new all-time closing high, it will need to end the session above its March 20 close ($100.55).
