Alphabet Inc GOOG shares are trading higher by $2.65 at $841.33 in Friday's session. There is no specific news out on the issue to account for the move to a new all-time high.
Google's stock began the week at $829.08 and after a small decline Monday, it has been higher every day the rest of the week.
After a higher open above its former all-time high ($841.95) at $843.28, it continued higher before peaking at $844.91. Since reaching that elevated level, it has drifted lower and has continued to make new lows with for the day, with the current one being $841.28.
If the decline continues, the next identifiable support level may be Thursday's closing price of $838.68.
