Traders Keep Liking Facebook As Stock Hits New All-Time High

Facebook Inc FB shares are trading higher by $2.88 (2.1 percent) at $136.60 in Wednesday's session. In order to expand sports fans time spent on its platform, the company is in talks with the MLB to live stream one game per week.

After a flat open, Facebook's stock found support just under Tuesday's close ($133.72) at $133.46 and began to move higher. So far, the ensuing rally has surpassed its former all-time high of $135.49, reaching $136.79, and it's not far off that high.

The issue is poised to post a new all-time closing high if can end the session over its February 20 close of $134.20.

The rally is taking place significantly higher than average volume. With three hours remaining, 18.4 million shares have already traded, which exceeds it total volume from Tuesday of 14.8 million.
