SunPower Recoups Thursday's Losses

SunPower Corporation SPWR shares are trading higher by $0.66 (9.5 percent) at $7.42 in Friday's session. The issue has recouped all of its losses from Thursday's session, falling from $7.25 to $6.76, on the heels of a Q4 EPS miss of $0.19 with a slight beat for sales.

After a flat open, SunPower's stock retreated $0.11 to $6.65 before embarking on its move higher. So far, the ensuing rally has taken the issue to $7.68, but has since backed off that high. The current high coincides with a series of four consecutive highs between $7.59 and $7.81 from January 11 to January 17.
