United States Steel Corporation X shares are trading higher by $0.74 (3.7 percent) at $20.36 in Tuesday's session. The issue has traded higher in six of its last seven trading sessions (including today), with the one outlier being a modest loss of $0.18 in Monday's session.
Over this time period, it has rallied from its October 17 close ($16.42) to as high as $20.93 earlier in today's session. That high coincides with its August 26 high of $20.98.
If the issue can close over $20, it will be the first time since September 28, when it ended the session at $20.13.
