Ariad Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ARIA shares are trading lower by $0.75 (6.5 percent) at $9.63 in Monday's session. A JPMorgan downgrade from Neutral to Underweight has the issue in the red for the seventh day in a row and for the ninth time in its last 10 sessions.

Over that course of time, it has moved from its October 10 close ($14.19), which was made the same day of the high for the move ($14.34), to its current level.

After a lower open, it could only manage a $0.02 bounce to $9.80 before continuing its move lower. So far, the ensuing decline has reached $9.24 and is attempting to mount a comeback.

The recent low coincides with its July 29 low of $9.23 along with three other lows that were made in the $9.40 area in early August.
