General Mills, Inc. (NYSE: GIS) shares are trading higher by $2.70 at $70.66 in Thursday's session. The catalyst for the rally is a Q4 beat of $0.06 with a slight beat for revenues. The company provided upbeat guidance for 2017.

Its slightly higher opening tick of $68 has turned out to be the low for the day. It has continued to make new highs for the day with the current one standing at $70.68. That is far above its previous all-time high that was made on Wednesday at $67.91.
