S&P 500 Index Futures Sharply Lower In Volatile Session

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by 68 points at 2037.75 in Friday's session. The index did stage a rally off the open that followed the index being limit-down for 20 minutes in pre-market trading.

The rally off the low from the open (2029) took the index to 2064.75 before turning resuming its decline.

All of the top 10 components of the index are in the red. Leading the way on the downside are JPMorgan JPM shares which are trading lower by $3.75 at $60.30. The best performer is AT&T T shares which are off by $0.18 at $41.70.
