Pfizer Inc. PFE shares are trading higher by $0.97 (3 percent) at $33.77 in Tuesday's session. The catalyst for the rally is a Q1 beat for EPS of $0.12 with over $1 billion more in revenues.
The issue has been on a tear since it ended its pursuit of Allergan AGN on April 4. Since that day, it has rallied over $3 and reached its highest level since November 21, when it peaked at $34.21.
After peaking at $34.05 in pre-market trading, the issue is finding sellers in the same area as $33.97, which stands as the current high.
