S&P 500 Index Futures Lower

S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by 11 points at 1885 in Wednesday's session. The rallies in the both the pre-market and regular session have been unable to clear Tuesday's close (1896), only reaching 1894.25.

Only three of the top 10 components of the index are in the green. Leading the way on the upside is Johnson & Johnson JNJ, which is trading higher by $1.26 at $102.44.

The biggest drag on the index is the index's biggest component, Apple Inc. AAPL. The Street was not satisfied with its forward guidance. Shares of the company are trading lower by $4.64 at $95.35.
