Apple Falls Below $100 For First Time Since August 2015

Apple Inc. AAPL shares are trading lower by $2.64 at $100.06 in Wednesday's session. After a lower open, it managed to rally but found resistance just above Tuesday's close ($102.37), reaching $102.71 before resuming its decline.

Moments ago, it breached $100, reaching $99.96 before attempting to stage a rebound. This marks the first time under $100 since the Flash Crash, when it bottomed at $92.

The issue has not closed below the century mark since October 20, 2014, when it ended the session at $99.76.
