S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by twenty points at 2044.50 in Tuesday's session. The combination of the unresolved Greek debt crisis coupled with the collapse in the Chinese stock market has investors in a defensive mode/ After trading higher for a majority of the after-hours and premarket session, the index could not hold Monday's close (2064.50) off the open, peaking a 2064 before cratering. So far, it has found intraday support ahead of Monday's low (2034.25), reaching 2037.25 before staging a rebound into the 2040 handle. Nine of the top ten components in the index are in the red. The lone winner is Procter & Gamble
PG
shares which are trading higher by $0.33 at $80.38. Leading the way on downside is JP Morgan
JPM
shares which are trading lower by $1.50 at $65.81.
