Here is the ETF Professor's ETF Watchlist for Monday December 7, 2009.

The Yen is looking a little overbought against the dollar, so keep an eye on the CurrencyShares Japanese Yen Trust ETF (NYSE: FXY).

Take a look at the iShares MSCI Australia Index (NYSE: EWA) on news of BHP Billiton (NYSE: BHP) and Rio Tinto's (NYSE: RTP) iron ore agreement.

The United States Natural Gas Fund (NYSE: UNG) continues to see considerable weakness and is always in play.

Give the newly issued IndexIQ IQ Merger Arbitrage ETF (NYSE: MNA) a try, especially if there is some news about Kraft (NYSE: KFT) and Cadbury (NYSE: CBY) or other MNA news.

Watch the SPDR KBW Regional Banking ETF (NYSE: KRE) as a financial play.

The Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE: GDX) was down more than 5% on Friday. Watch it on Monday.

Gold's weakness is a friend to the U.S. dollar, so keep an eye on the PowerShares DB U.S. Dollar Index Bullish Fund ETF (NYSE: UUP).

If gold faces continued selling pressure, try the PowerShares DB Gold Double Short ETN (NYSE: DZZ).
