ETFs To Watch November 30, 2009 (XLU, TZA, GULF, UNG, UYG)
Here is the ETF Professor's ETF Watchlist For Monday November 30, 2009.
Here are two Dubai plays to start off the week with: The WisdomTree Middle East Dividend ETF (Nasdaq: GULF) and the Market Vectors Gulf States ETF (NYSE: MES).
A play on online shopping data: The First Trust Dow Jones Internet Index (NYSE: FDN).
Financials were beaten up on Friday, making the ProShares Ultra Financial ETF (NYSE: UYG) worth taking a look at and if you're looking for a rebound, try the Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSE: XLF) and the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Financial Sector Index ETF (NYSE: IYF).
If risk appetite starts to wane due to the Dubai news, try the Utilities Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSE: XLU). XLU is up 4% in the past month.
Small-caps continue to look weak and the ETF Professor highlighted problems with the iShares Russell 2000 Index (NYSE: IWM) earlier. Try the Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3X Shares (NYSE: TZA) as an inverse play.
Believe it or not, the United States Natural Gas Fund (NYSE: UNG) is up more than 10% in the past week. Keep it an eye on it on Monday.
Another play on a flight to quality/declining risk appetite: PowerShares Dynamic Large Cap Value ETF (NYSE: PWV).
