Here is the ETF Professor's ETF Watchlist for Wednesday November 11, 2009.
With a slew of retail earnings reports slated to start trickling in tomorrow, keep an eye on the Retail HOLDRs (NYSE: RTH) and the SPDR S&P Retail ETF (NYSE: XRT).
The Professor mentioned some bearish options trade in the Semiconductor HOLDRs (NYSE: SMH) on Tuesday, so it might be worth monitoring on Wednesday.
The iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 ETF (NYSE: FXI) pulled back by 1% on Tuesday, so let's see if China stocks resume their bullish ways soon.
Real estate issues continue to receive a lot of attention and the play should be the iShares Dow Jones US Real Estate (NYSE: IYR). The inverse play is the UltraShort Real Estate ETF (NYSE: SRS).
The UltraShort Silver ProShares ETF (NYSE: ZSL) was on of the top gainers among inverse ETFs on Tuesday.
Coal is dirty, but the returns by coal stocks have been clean so the Professor recommends the Market Vectors Coal ETF (NYSE: KOL).
Another real estate play: The iShares Dow Jones US Home Construction (NYSE: ITB).
Oil plays: The SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (NYSE: XOP) and the Oil Services HOLDRs (AMEX: OIH).
