US Dollar Stronger This Morning (UUP)

Early this morning the US Dollar is showing some signs of life after a big down day yesterday.

In pre-market trading the Powershares Bullish US Dollar ETF (NYSE: UUP) is up 0.5% to $22.66/share.

Also of note, gold and oil are both down this morning in response to the slightly stronger Dollar. Gold, after hitting an all time high yesterday is down $6.20/ounce to $1,049/ounce. Equities are poised to open slightly lower as well.
