NBC's Popularity Reaching Record Highs In November

’s NBC just
declared
it has won its fourth consecutive November primetime Nielsen sweep for the adults 18–49-years-old category.

According to the company, “With three nights left to count, NBC is delivering a +21 percent margin of victory in [the] 18-49 [age bracket].” The company continued, explaining that the numbers is the “biggest November advantage for any net in 19 years.” Leading by a 21 percent margin, NBC’s rating reached 2.3 versus second-runner-up Fox’s rating of 1.9 for “live plus same day.”

The November win was driven by “Sunday Night Football,” primetime’s most popular series on the Big 4 networks; “The Voice,” the most popular alternative series; and “Blindspot,” which shared the position of the top-rated new series with “Chicago Med.”

For the fourth year in a row, NBC won the November primetime Nielsen sweep in adults 18-49, and the margin of the victory was the widest in almost 2 decades. The consecutive wins also represent the network’s longest November streak since the 2000-2003 run.

Regarding “live plus same day” results through 25 of November’s 28 counted nights (October 29 through November 22), NBC ranks first among the Big 4 networks within the every main demographic, pulling in top ratings for the categories of adults, men and women 18–34, 18–49 and 25–54. However, in total viewers, the network ranks second, trailing CBS Corporation CBS.

For 25 of the 28 counted nights, covering the period of October 29 through November 22 for "live plus same day," the results have come in as follows:
