Jon Najarian Likes Broadcom, Hewlett-Packard (BRCM, HPQ)

Jon Najarian said on CNBC prior to the market close today that he is a buyer of Broadcom (NASDAQ: BRCM) shares. During the session, Broadcom (BRCM) lost 0.38% to close at $31.60. In the last six months, the stock has gained 16.43% and has been fairly volatile.

Najarian also said that he likes Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ), which he believes is benefiting from the corporate technology upgrade cycle. Najarian said he prefers HPQ to Dell (NASDAQ: DELL), because Hewlett-Packard was able to grow their margins last quarter, whereas DELL's margins decreased. In today's trading, HPQ lost 0.04% to close at $50.79. DELL shares took a pretty significant 6.65% haircut to close at $13.47, after reporting disappointing earnings yesterday afternoon.
