Otelco was the subject of much message board and chat room chatter on Monday. THe company had a dismal earnings report in August.
Otelco closed at $2.30 on Monday.
Fonar (NASDAQ: FONR), the Melville, NY developer of magnetic resonance imaging scanners, rose 13.11% Monday on 9 times average volume.
Fonar shares continued to move higher Monday following a solid earnings report on October 1.
Fonar closed at $6.30 on Monday.
Shares of Delcath Systems (NASDAQ: DCTH), the New York City pharmaceutical company focused primarily on treatments for liver cancer, rose 11.59% Monday on 5 times average volume.
Delcath had another big day Monday after rising almost 14% on Friday. The company is waiting for FDA acceptance of its New Drug Application for CHEMOSAT, which targets unresectable metastatic cutaneous and ocular melanomas of the liver.
Delcath Systems closed at $2.31 on Monday.
