ETF Plays For Apple's Tablet Announcement

Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) has finally unveiled its widely anticipated iPad Tablet, though the announcement appears to be doing nothing to jolt the stocks, but if you think the iPad will be an important catalyst for the stock going forward, you might want to check out a few ETFs that hold Apple shares.

The SPDR Morgan Stanley Technology ETF (NYSE: MTK) holds about 4% of its weight in Apple and could be a way to play the "tablet wars" because Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) is another significant holding in this ETF.

The iShares Dow Jones US Technology ETF (NYSE: IYW) devotes more than 9% of its holdings to Apple and the Technology Select Sector SPDR (NYSE: XLK) invests in Apple to the tune of 8.3%, so both are worth looking at for a "tablet trade."

Apple shares are up less than 1% on the announcement.
