Who Could Dell Buy? (RAX, RDWR, CVLT)

In a very unusual move, Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) announced it will be making an acquisition in the cloud computing space, but did not give the name of the company.

Speculation has run rampant about who the company could be. Names being thrown out are Rackspace Hosting, Inc. (NYSE: RAX), Radware Ltd. (NASDAQ: RDWR) and Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRCD), among others.

Rackspace is especially interesting as the company reports earnings this week, and is up sharply in pre-market, gaining 3%, a stronger gain than the other companies.

This suggests to me that someone knows something.
