Data Storage Devices: This industry jumped 3.12% by 10:33 am. The top stock within the industry was Alanco Technologies Inc (NASDAQ: ALAN), which rose 24.26%. ALAN reported a 25% y/y rise in its FQ1 sales.

Toy & Hobby Stores: This industry rose 2.86% by 10:33 am ET. The top performer in this industry was Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc (NYSE: BBW), which gained 1.90%. BBW is all set to report its FQ3 earnings on October 28.

Silver: This industry moved up 2.60% by 10:33 am, with Endeavour Silver Corporation (AMEX: EXK) moving up 6.53% to gain the top spot. EXK reported strong y/y rise in its gold and silver production in the third quarter.

Auto Manufacturers - Major: The industry, which gained 1.98%, saw Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE: TM) as the top gainer. TM's shares rose 2.69%. Tesla Motors (NASDAQ: TSLA) has entered into a deal with TM for developing an electric powertrain system for an all-electric version of the RAV 4 sports utility vehicle.
