Toy & Hobby Stores: This industry jumped 2.35% by 10:35 am. The top stock within the industry was Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc (NYSE: BBW), which rose 1.51%. BBW has planned to open about 10 pop-up stores in time for the 2010 holiday season.
Business Equipment: This industry rose 2.30% by 10:35 am ET. The top performer in this industry was Hypercom Corp (NYSE: HYC), which gained 46.34%. HYC has rejected the unsolicited buyout offer of $5.25 per share from VeriFone Systems Inc (NYSE: PAY).
Tobacco Products, Other: This industry moved up 2.04% by 10:35 am, with Alliance One International Inc (NYSE: AOI) moving up 3.03% to gain the top spot. AOI's shares have lost 11.61% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 8.29% in the same period.
Internet Service Providers: The industry, which gained 2.00%, saw F5 Networks Inc (NASDAQ: FFIV) as the top gainer. FFIV's shares rose 2.24%. Analysts at RBC Capital Markets upgraded FFIV from “sector perform” to “outperform.”
