RAE Systems Inc (AMEX: RAE) climbed 50.96% to $1.57. RAE has agreed to be purchased by an affiliate of Battery Ventures for about $95.3 million, or $1.60 per share, representing a 53.8% premium over RAE Systems' closing share price on September 17.
Internet Brands Inc (NASDAQ: INET) shares advanced 45.01% to $13.21. INET has agreed to be bought by private-equity firm Hellman & Friedman for about $640 million, or $13.35 per share in cash, representing a 46.5% premium over INET's closing price on September 17.
Old Second Bancorp Inc (NASDAQ: OSBC) shares surged 40.95% to $1.48. OSBC's shares have dipped 79.08% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 5.36% in the same period.
