Optical Cable Corporation (NASDAQ: OCCF) shares advanced 22.73% to $2.70. OCCF has swung to profits in the fiscal third quarter.

Southcoast Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: SOCB) shares surged 21.60% to $3.49. SOCB’s shares have lost 38.68% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 6.41% in the same period.
