Michael Kors: On Track To Become Upscale Stock Star?
Apparel marketer Michael Kors (KORS) grew revenue 45% to 81% over the past eight quarters. The fast growth isn't just about new stores. Kors recently reported a 39% rise in same-store sales for the 50 weeks ended March 17. In the upscale space, few can compare to Kors right now. Ralph Lauren (RL)'s sales growth ranged from 7% to 32% over the past eight quarters. Coach (COH) delivered 9% to 22% growth, and True Religion Apparel (TRLG) 8% to 22%.
