Monday’s Movers and Shakers, AAPL, GCI, TXN, BIIB, FACT, HAS

Monday should see great movement in shares of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL), and Gannett Co. (NYSE: GCI) with Apple reporting after the bell. Gannett reported a profit of 41 cents per share in Q3, while Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN) is also likely to move well with a projected third quarter profit of 39 cents per share.

If Friday’s bell is anything to go by, Biogen Idec Inc. (NASDAQ: BIIB) should climb further. The company is offering $14.50 per share in a bid for a stake in Facet Biotech Corp. (NASDAQ: FACT). A Q3 earnings of 93 cents per share is expected from Hasbro Inc. (NYSE: HAS) whose shares closed at $29.52 on Friday.
