Audiovox (NASDAQ: VOXX) just announced a range of new products for the upcoming year. Included in the list are ARS1i and ARS2i high performance audio iPod/iPhone systems. Along a similar vein, they also announced four products to enhance the outdoor speaker line, and an improved clock radio line (with iPod docks) marketed under the RCA brand.

Of particular interest in today’s smartphone market is the new Zentral Smart Command attachment for Blackberries (TSE:RIM) and the iPhone (NASDAQ: AAPL), letting you turn your smartphone into a universal remote. For those without smartphones, several new standalone universal remote products are being announced, including one with voice control.

For their video product line, they have 4 new models of portable DVD players coming out. In addition, their camcorder line will also be upgraded.

For improving your home decor, they are coming out with new digital photo frames. The DPF8100 will fit inside any other 8x10 frame you have, allowing you to match your home decor and trim. The DPF8300 allows for customized digital matting.

Also released in the digital photo product line is the Celebration series of products, which are made to look like photo albums. Shaped like books, complete with leather covers, these frames look more like elegant books than photo frames. They have been designed to celebrate special moments like a wedding or birth, graduation or retirement.

To enhance your vehicle, the FLO TV by Qualcomm (NASDAQ: QCOM) product was announced, providing live TV in your car. Audiovox will be the exclusive provider of the FLO TV hardware. Other automotive enhancements from Audiovox include a redesigned remote start product line, as well as additions to the Jensen mobile multimedia product line. The two models, VM9314 and VM9324, will offer the latest in HD Radio technology incorporating iTunes tagging and voice control for the iPod and iPhone.
