Western Copper & Gold Corp was incorporated under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) on March 18, 2006. It changed its name to Western Copper and Gold Corporation on October 17, 2011. The Company is an exploration and development company that is directly engaged in the development of the Casino mineral property located in Yukon, Canada. The Casino property is host to one of the largest undeveloped porphyry deposits in Canada containing large amounts of gold, copper, and molybdenum in its one billion tonnes of reserves. The Company completed a feasibility study on the Casino Project in January 2013 and completed the first step in the permitting process by submitting the Casino Project Proposal to the Yukon Environmental and Socioeconomic Assessment Board ("YESAB") in January 2014.
