Its customers represent a variety of industries, including manufacturing, food services, sports, technology, finance, insurance, retail, real estate, transportation, communications, healthcare and other services. The Company markets and sells its products and services through its direct sales force. It competes on the basis of technology, delivered functionality, price or performance and service. The Company's competitors in the enterprise market are; large service bureaus, Automatic Data Processing Inc. and, to a lesser extent, Ceridian; and companies, such as PeopleSoft or Oracle, Lawson, and Workday that offer human resource management and payroll software products for use on mainframes, client or server environments and or Web servers. In the mid-market, Company's competitors include payroll service providers, such as ADP, Ceridian and Paychex.
