Race Sponsorship Benefits Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston

Camden, NJ (PRWEB) February 17, 2018

Catapult Learning, a leading provider of instructional intervention and professional development solutions that generate academic gains and better life outcomes for students, today announced its sponsorship of the 13th annual Steps 4 Students 5K Run in Houston, Texas.

The event, happening today, helps raise funds for the 59 Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. It also benefits the Archdiocesan Tuition Assistance Program, which provides need-based tuition assistance to students of all faiths wishing to attend the schools.

"The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is dedicated to ensuring its schools are able to provide the best educational opportunities for students, regardless of social and academic challenges," said Catapult Learning's Territory Vice President Annette Charles. "This resonates with our company's mission, and we are proud to help raise awareness and support for Catholic education."

For over 40 years, Catapult Learning and Catholic school administrators across the country have worked together to solve challenges and ensure students receive the best educational experience possible through innovative and targeted approaches to learning. Steps 4 Students is a platform for schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston to raise funds for their specific needs.

Last year's event drew nearly 12,500 participants and raised more than $1 million. Part of the funds were used to purchase new textbooks and technology, provide training opportunities for teachers, and update school facilities. Since 2006, Steps 4 Students has raised more than $4.2 million for the schools, and hundreds of families have received tuition assistance. For more information, visit Steps 4 Students.
