The two international locations will join Kirkendoll Management's roster of restaurants, including Lucy's restaurants in New Orleans and Key West, as well as a French Bistro-inspired American diner in Austin named Bonhomie.

Costa Rica and Aruba residents and visitors will soon have a new sports bar and dining option. Kirkendoll Management, the New Orleans-based boutique hospitality investment firm, today announced plans to open two new Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurants (Lucy's) in Costa Rica and Aruba. The two international locations will join Kirkendoll Management's roster of restaurants, including Lucy's restaurants in New Orleans and Key West, as well as a French Bistro-inspired American diner in Austin named Bonhomie.

Lucy's opening in Costa Rica marks the brand's first international location. The Costa Rican location will open December 15, 2017. The Aruban restaurant is anticipated to open in February 2018.

The over thirty-year-old Lucy's brand got its start in New York City when a California native opened the original Lucy's on the Upper West Side in 1985. In 1992, Lucy's moved to the New Orleans Warehouse District, where it's been a mainstay of New Orleans' nightlife. In 2016, Lucy's moved even further south to Key West near the popular Duval Street.

Lucy's international expansion is bringing the brand's coastal-inspired cuisine, drinks and surfer-inspired theme to Costa Rica's Playa Brasilito beach in the Guanacaste Province and Oranjestad, the capital city of Aruba.
