Region One Education Service Center Turns to Austin-Based Tech Company to Save Texas School Districts Money and Empower Local Businesses

AUSTIN TX --(Marketwired - October 17, 2016) - The Region One Education Service Center (ESC) in Southern Texas, and Periscope Holdings, a leading procurement solutions provider for the public sector, today announced the availability of the eBuyOne eProcurement system.

Region One ESC is part of a state-wide system established by the 59th Texas Legislature to help school districts operate more efficiently and economically and, ultimately, implement more high-impact student education initiatives. Not only will this new eBuyOne system streamline purchasing for all Region One ESC members, but it will enable the 37 school districts and 10 charter school systems in Region One ESC's seven-county service area to improve overall resource utilization.
