Boca Raton, Florida (PRWEB) September 06, 2016

The Casey Powell World Lacrosse Foundation's (CPWLF) executive board members have appointed Rachel Zietz, CEO of Gladiator Lacrosse, as the newest board member, adding to the existing panel of nine lacrosse leaders.

The CPWLF is a non-profit organization created to support severely injured or sick lacrosse players and is similarly aimed on supporting lacrosse players, coaches, organizers and enthusiasts from all over the globe. Founded by Casey Powell, an international lacrosse icon and MVP of Major League Lacrosse, Powell has dedicated his passion for lacrosse on the field and within his organization. "My commitment to the future of the sport is the core driver of CPWLF", said Casey Powell, founder of CPWLF. "Rachel embodies the spirit of lacrosse and brings talent, expertise and energy to the table. We are very fortunate to add her to our board as we continue to strengthen the lacrosse community," he explained.

The Casey Powell World Lacrosse Foundation's mission is to motivate, share and support the game of lacrosse worldwide. It helps provide a venue to promote the awareness of good causes, to raise funds for those in need and to support lacrosse families affected by the recovery process. It's no doubt the foundation recruited Zietz as the latest board member as she exhibits the same determination to give back to the community. Gladiator Lacrosse has donated several lacrosse items for auction to raise funds for educational purposes and has also donated equipment to the underprivileged, to leagues in various cities and schools throughout the US and internationally.

Rachel Zietz, CPWLF's newest board member, is the founder of a successful lacrosse company: Gladiator Lacrosse, offering high-quality training equipment at an affordable price point. As an ambitious athlete, Straight-A student, chief executive officer and devoted family member, Rachel has maintained a profitable company without ever compromising the brand's fundamental intent or consumer promise. "I'm honored to join the CPWLF board of directors and being part of a group that works for the benefit of the lacrosse community is truly gratifying," commented Rachel Zietz, founder and CEO of Gladiator Lacrosse. "I'm proud to be associated with an organization that has always been a great lacrosse advocate. CPWLF and Gladiator Lacrosse share the same enthusiasm and I am excited to bring a piece of that loyalty to the table," she continued.

Gladiator Lacrosse and CPWLF demonstrate a strong collaboration and are focused to set a new standard of performance in the sport. For more information about the Casey Powell World Lacrosse Foundation visit worldlacrosse.org.
