Cruise Critic shares new ships to watch in 2016, including five lines introducing their biggest-ever ships

EWING, N.J., Dec. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cruise Critic®, the world's leading cruise reviews site and online cruise community, highlights seven cruise ships launching in 2016, along with new onboard features hitting the seas in the upcoming year. Among the new ships, five will be largest-in-fleet and four will be inaugural ships in brand new ship classes.

"For travelers considering a cruise, 2016 is a great year to give it a go," explained Carolyn Spencer Brown, editor-in-chief of Cruise Critic. "With a majority of the ships being largest-in-fleet, first-in-class – or both – cruise lines are introducing products and offerings that will shape the course of the industry moving forward. Beyond the flashy, fun-to-have experiences, we're seeing thoughtful amenities directly addressing the needs of cruise's expanding audience – technological advances, increased family offerings and expanded culinary options, to name a few."
