Joy Global completes sale of Texas steel plate mill

MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Joy Global Inc. JOY has completed the sale of its steel plate mill in Longview, Texas, to Nucor Corporation NUE for approximately $29 million.

All of Longview's steel mill and cutting employees have transitioned to Nucor employment. Joy Global looks forward to a continued working relationship as the mill supplies heavy steel plate used to manufacture some of the company's premier mining equipment.
