OpenStack Days Seattle provides an opportunity for attendees to talk with other OpenStack users and enthusiasts, sharing knowledge and showcasing successful OpenStack deployments. It is a day filled with networking opportunities, thought-provoking presentations, and many opportunities to dive deeper into the world of OpenStack.

This year's conference will feature keynote presentations by Sean Roberts, director of technical program management at Walmart; Jonathan Chiang, chief architect of cloud infrastructure at Comcast; Randy Bias, vice president of technology at EMC; Chris Wright, vice president and chief technologist at Red Hat; and Sarah Novotny, program manager for the Kubernetes Community at Google.

In addition, the conference will include panels, workshops, and demo sessions from some of the most notable names in the OpenStack community. The agenda features tracks devoted specifically to enterprise and telecom use cases and sessions that delve into the intersection of OpenStack and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

"OpenStack customers have had great success running a variety of workloads on Openstack—from web scale to HPC to analytics to NFV—and now they are able to derive more value from newer technologies like Docker and Kubernetes by leveraging OpenStack APIs," said Sriram Subrimanian, founder and CEO of CloudDon. "We are excited to bring together the OpenStack community, customers and service providers to share their success stories and best practices in Seattle, the hometown of Cloud Computing."

Last year's event had three full tracks with more than 20 sessions and drew more than 200 technical professionals and thought leaders from around the world, with strong representation from greater Seattle's thriving OpenStack community. Attendees included OpenStack operators, IT executives, application developers, members of the OpenStack ecosystem and service providers.
