AppFormix Takes Home Three Best of Interop Awards, Including Grand Award

At its 30th anniversary event, Interop Las Vegas yesterday presented cloud service optimization startup AppFormix with three Best of Interop Awards, recognizing AppFormix software for its role in advancing the cloud operations management space.

The company was presented with Best of Interop awards for both Cloud/Virtualization Product and Best Startup, in addition to being named the Grand Award winner.

AppFormix, a cloud service optimization platform, uses advanced analytics and orchestration to improve application performance in hybrid and private clouds.

In each of the award program's 10 categories of IT innovation, Interop named the exhibitor whose new product or service has made the most significant impact on the industry. AppFormix is exhibiting at Interop Las Vegas, an independent technology event for IT and networking professionals, which continues this week through May 6 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

The Best of Interop Awards were judged by an expert panel consisting of 20 influential IT practitioners, analysts and professionals. Each category was assigned two judges who selected the winner after holding a series of briefings to evaluate demos and business cases.

Best of Interop is only the first set of awards AppFormix is vying for this spring. The company was recently named a finalist for the MIT CIO Symposium Innovation Showcase award, to be announced on May 18.
