FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

International Data Corporation (IDC) has published its 2016 IDC Innovators report recognizing pioneering players in the behavioral analytics and identity awareness market. IDC Innovators are companies with under $50 million in revenue that offer an inventive technology and/or groundbreaking new business model.

Guardtime, Lewis Rhodes Labs, and ObserveIT were all named as IDC Innovators in the behavioral analytics and identity awareness market for 2016.

"Traditional enterprise security mechanisms tend to ignore indicators of compromise when associated with a particular user or device. This is especially true when attackers with compromised credentials take care to move cautiously throughout the enterprise," said Sean Pike, program director, eDiscovery and Information Governance. "Singular alerts are easily buried within the mountains of data that fly across security operation's monitors, creating a unique challenge. This IDC Innovator document highlights three vendors, each with distinct products that may be able to help organizations solve their identity problem."

Guardtime has been working in the blockchain and identity space for nearly ten years, developing and implementing identity and integrity solutions across a number of vertical industries including telecommunications, financial services, and government/military. Lewis Rhodes Labs has been shipping products in stealth mode to select clients for nearly four years, but just recently announced public availability of a product called the Cyber Microscope. ObserveIT is the first user behavioral analytics (UBA) solution to combine related UBA, supervision and monitoring, and training technologies into a single platform that provides an added layer of context and behavioral modification.

IDC Innovators Vendors in Behavioral Analytics and Identity Awareness, 2016 (Doc #US41144816) profiles select companies in the cloud services enablement market with an innovative technology or a groundbreaking new business model or both. The IDC Innovators research document examines companies with revenue of less than $50 million with a product, service or business model with a specific use case.
