The CoSMo Company Strengthens Board with Appointment of Software Veteran André M Boisvert

The CoSMo [Complex Systems Modeling] Company (CoSMo), a leading developer of system-driven predictive analytics software, announced today that André M Boisvert has joined the company's Board of Directors. Boisvert brings over 35 years of software experience with companies such as Cognos and Oracle. Boisvert will advise CoSMo on its business and unique modeling and simulation platform that enables the company's own application development group, as well as its partners, to create game changing applications, which allows enterprise customers to accelerate their digital transformation by managing complex systems across multiple industries, such as energy, urban planning, life sciences, transportation and others.

Boisvert started his career in 1976 at IBM, where he held senior management positions in sales, marketing and research & development. He also held executive positions at Cognos and Oracle Corporation, where he served as senior VP of worldwide marketing and on Oracle's management committee. He went on to become president & COO of SAS Institute Inc. and in 2002 became chairman & CEO of Sagent Technologies Inc. SGNT. In 2004, Boisvert co-founded Pentaho Corporation, which was acquired in 2015 by Hitachi Data Systems for +$500M. He also served as director of several other innovative software companies, such as Revolution Analytics Inc., which was acquired by Microsoft and Zend Technologies Corp., which was acquired by Roque Wave Software Inc.

Currently, Boisvert serves as chairman of Issuer Direct Corporation ISDR, a provider of regulatory compliance solutions & services for publicly traded companies; Palamida Corporation, a leader in software composition analysis for intellectual property & security risk management; Infobright Corporation, a provider of analytical data discover tools and as vice-chairman of River Logic Inc., a leader in prescriptive analytics.
